Future Stars is a 5-game friendly event designed for 10U, 12U, and 14U teams looking to prepare for the upcoming season. This event is all about giving young players plenty of opportunities to compete, learn, and grow in a fun, positive environment.

Teams are matched against similar levels of competition, creating competitive games that help players and coaches see where they stand before the season begins. With free offensive and defensive substitutions, every player gets valuable time on the field and meaningful game reps.

There are no elimination brackets and no play-to-stay fees. Just five guaranteed games, lots of softball, and a great weekend to prepare for the season ahead.

Since the event takes place in April, games will begin later in the morning to allow for warmer temperatures. All games will be played at one location, making it easy for coaches, players, and families to enjoy the weekend.

The Midwest Elite Invitational, better known as the Catalina Wine Mixer, is the premier event hosted by 4TheGirls Fastpitch. This invite-only tournament brings together some of the top 16U and 18U teams from across the Midwest for a weekend of elite competition, college exposure, and an unforgettable tournament experience.

Team selection is based on performance, program reputation, and the commitment to promoting student-athletes, helping create an event that attracts a strong college coach presence year after year. With the field limited to just 72 teams, every effort is made to maximize exposure and provide a first-class experience for players, coaches, and college recruiters.

The tournament features a 5-game guarantee, including four 85-minute finish-the-inning showcase/pool play games on Friday and Saturday, followed by a blind draw single-elimination championship bracket on Sunday. Open rosters and free substitution allow every athlete the opportunity to compete and showcase their abilities.

To further enhance college exposure, every game and every age division is played at one location, making it easy for college coaches to evaluate multiple teams and athletes throughout the weekend. The event also features a College Showcase Camp led by NCAA Division I and Division II coaches, giving players another opportunity to learn from and be seen by coaches at the next level.

In addition to top-level competition, the Catalina Wine Mixer is recognized as a college umpire evaluation event, ensuring experienced, high-quality officiating throughout the weekend.

Teams are matched with similar levels of competition, creating competitive games that help players and coaches see where they stand early in the season.

Held the weekend after Labor Day each year, this event is scheduled to take advantage of when many NCAA Division II, Division III, and NAIA college coaches are available to attend and watch games. With every age group playing at one location, coaches have the opportunity to see more athletes throughout the weekend, giving teams added exposure.

There are no elimination brackets and no play-to-stay requirements. Just five guaranteed games, quality competition, and a great opportunity to compete, improve, and begin the fall season on the right foot.
